"This was a really interesting doc about a topic I’ve always been curious about. I wish it had more information about the actual script and plan Romero had for the movie and less about his filmmaking history in general, but that’s far from an issue. This was informative, entertaining, and very well shot. I really loved the mansion scenes they shot snd peppered throughout, it could have easily just been a bunch of talking heads, but this was much more unique. Also, the limited edition slipcover for this a thing of absolute beauty."

"There's not really much to the story (Romero wrote a script, they didn't like it or use it), but it's interesting to hear about what the film could have been. The documentary feels a bit padded out with background about Romero's career and the history of the Resident Evil game series. The contributors are at least mostly people that I haven't seen interviewed before, so there's new material and perspectives. George himself is barely heard from (I suppose there's not a lot of relevant video footage available). I didn't expect a whole 2nd disc of extra features!"
