A horror triple feature from the vaults of the American Genre Film Archive (AGFA)!
HELP ME . . . I’M POSSESSED: A free-form nightmare that takes place at a sanitarium in the desert, this surrealist gem includes a psychopathic hunchback, delirious monsters, and a killer early synthesizer score.
NIGHT OF THE STRANGLER: A southern-fried whodunnit with murder, racial tension, and a starring role from The Monkees’ Micky Dolenz, this sweat-soaked sleazer feels like a cross between an American giallo and a trashy airport paperback novel.
CARNIVAL OF BLOOD: An ominous, semi-cinéma vérité horror movie that was shot at Coney Island in NYC, CARNIVAL OF BLOOD features an early role from Burt Young (ROCKY), pop-art gore that would make H.G. Lewis proud, and a gloriously seedy atmosphere.

Reviews
Not much to recommend
"This is a set of really rough looking low budget movies only of interest to dedicated genre fans. "Help Me. . I'm Possessed" starts the trio off with a terrible and non-sensical mad doctor story. "Night of the Strangler" is an almost competent giallo inspired work that is mildly entertaining. "Carnival of Blood" brings the highlight of an early Burt Young performance in a murder thriller with a touch of gore."

Another great AGFA release
"Excellent release of 3 low-budget horror/exploitation films from the 1970s. Great slipcover design,"

The obscure cynical 70s
"Triple feature of obscure regional grime including a real feel-band weirdy from famous pornographer Leonard Kirtman. Help Me. . . I'm Possessed is my favorite of the bunch, with Kirtman's Carnival of Blood next and Night of the Strangler (starring Mickey Dolenz) last but not because it's a bad movie but because it feels a little out of place here. Well, it's not super great but it does have a good payoff. Are these rough? Yessssss. But two of the features are scanned from their only known 35mm film prints so I guess we're just lucky to have them."

Nice set
"Picture guality is what it is but still great movies. Great saves from AGFA"

— Noel H. (5/5)
Triple feature frightmare!
"All three films are great and cheesy, makes for a fun marathon night with a couple beers and some friends, AGFA doing the lords work releasing these, still need to pick up the second one still too!"
— Evan D. (5/5)
Great AGFA release!
"Fun triple feature with great trailers in-between films!"
— Shannon V. (5/5)
Where does AGFA find this stuff?
"Help Me, I'm Possesed: We got the 70s Dunwich Horror at home! I still need to check out the other two films on this AGFA release, but hope to soon."

Quantity of Movies
"Movies: Help Me. . . I'm Possessed: A decently entertaining movie to watch because of the bizarre mix of things going on. Baffling, but never too frustrating. The main sanitarium/castle location defies normal spacial logic, being both in the middle of the dessert and also next to a forest, as well as having a secret passage to a "basement" that's a warehouse with a multi-story tall staircase. There's even one scene where an abstract/ill-defined killer sent a few shivers down my spine, so props to being able to stick the music, editing, etc. at least on occasion. Night of the Strangler: The highlight of Blood-A-Rama Triple Frightmare for sure. This is a solid crime thriller that even has touches that feel a bit Giallo (including an appearance by J&B!). Despite the title, the action plays out over many days, with _lots_ of kills & only one by strangulation. Racism is a big element here, so heads up that Dan is gonna drop the N-word frequently. I actually really liked Micky Dolenz's performance overall as the not-racist brother. Unfortunately the ending doesn't entirely stick the landing. Carnival of Blood: This movie is really unpleasant to watch at times, which is OK for a movie to do if it's intentional, but here feels really muddled. There are multiple couples that go to Coney Island and act like assholes, including our protagonists, which doesn't particularly get me invested in their relationship. Overall the movie _really_ drags and then I found the ending pretty unpleasant. Best part is when someone asks "Is he dead?" with seemingly no concern in their voice, like they just want to know if we can be done now, and I really felt that too. Extras: The drive-in snipes are solid as usual, and you can definitely watch everything in a single, 4 hour+ go which is nice. Packaging: Both the slipcover and the inner cover have very nice designs."
