Klowns is pretty fun

"This one is a double feature and Klowns is definitely the better of the two. The other is a fairly incomprehensible black and white affair that isn't that great. Klowns is also not a masterpiece, but it's OK. A little bit of nudity was unexpected so if topless clowns are your thing, pick this one up. I can't think of another movie that has one. Sets up for a sequel and I'd buy it if there is one. Not bad."

Klowns on the Loose

"Beware of the Klowns is the kind of microbudget horror comedy where the performances end up carrying more weight than the effects or the script. Some of the actors lean into the absurdity with a sense of playfulness that actually helps the film’s tone, while others struggle to find the rhythm and come off a bit stiff. It creates an uneven mix, but there are moments where the cast’s commitment gives the movie a spark it would not otherwise have. The transfer is cleaner than expected for a film that has mostly lived in rough, low resolution versions. Detail is improved, especially in daylight scenes and close‑ups, though the original photography still limits how sharp the image can ever look. Colors are more stable, and the overall presentation feels more controlled without trying to hide the movie’s scrappy origins. Sound quality is serviceable. Dialogue is easier to follow, though still occasionally muffled, and the score sits more comfortably in the mix. Some of the roughness is clearly baked into the source, so the upgrade can only go so far, but it is still a noticeable improvement over past releases. Extras help round out the package. The interviews and behind‑the‑scenes material offer a clearer sense of how the film was made and why it leans so heavily into its offbeat tone. Hearing the cast and crew talk about the production adds personality that the movie itself only hits in bursts."
