"Both movies were fine, but kind of dragged. Death Force was the better of the two."
"Great dvd double feature. A little aimless and boring but fun nonetheless"
"Death Force is a pretty fun exploitation flick but nothing could prepare me for the majesty and wonder of VAMPIRE HOOKERS. Bizarre ADR farts and a 10 minute slo-motion sex scene between a bunch of vampire hookers and a sailor are just the tip of the iceberg. This is a great disc to throw in especially if you have some friends over. Crazy as hell exploitation magic with plenty of laughs."
"I have a lot to say about both of these absolute gems, both directed by Cirio H Santiago. 'Death Force' was brand new to me - titled on the disk under the flick's original title 'Vengeance is Mine' (I think the title and logo of 'Death Force' was deliberately done to invoke a 'Star Wars' feeling) Ibwas concerned seeing the 110 minute running time that it would be a heavily padded affair. Gadzooks, was I wrong! The best drive-in martial arts movies feel like a fight could break out at any time, and this film exemplifies it. I don't think there's a single five minute stretch in the film without some sort of violence, and it's always so inventive that it never gets old. You also have the film debut of future Broadway star James Mknrow Iglehart, who originated the Genie in 'Aladdin's' stage musical production, at age four as the film stars his real life father. The plot follows a solider returning from Vietnam who is betrayed by two of his fellow soldiers for his cut of their drug trafficking. They slash his throat and throw him overboard, only for him to survive and wash ashore of an island inhabited by two AWOL Japanese World War II soldiers who teach him the way of the samurai. He returns to Los Angeles for some fun revenge. It rules. The other film has a soft spot in my heart, 'Vampire Hookers.' Banned in Minnesota in 2001 (pre-9/11 getting movies literally banned from screening was something people still did) you have sailors encountering Vampire Hooker and the legendary John Carradine. I've had the 80s long box VHS release of this for two decades and I'm stunned by how great this new transfer is. A fun film, essential viewing for fans of vampires, hookers, John Carradine and especially Vic Diaz. As a full disk, this is a perfect drive-in double feature. RECOMMENDED!"
"70’s drive in fare, although not super exciting. There is some fun to be had, if you’re in the right frame of mind."
"These films are so over the top that its impossible not to enjoy them. Death Force is a great action packed revenge film. And Vampire Hookers just oozes 70s exploitation and is beyond funny."
"Vamp Hooks is my favorite of the Drive-In Collection. In desperate bloody need of a 4K upgrade release."
"super wild and fun drive-in double feature. both movies deliver on their titles and you just can’t beat the price when it’s on sale."
"I haven't looked yet"
