"While not as good as the Danish original, this is nonetheless a fine Hollywood remake, with a superb cast. I've been waiting a long time for a good release of this, and VS delivered with a stacked edition."

"While not as good as the Danish original, this is nonetheless a fine Hollywood remake, with a superb cast. I've been waiting a long time for a good release of this, and VS delivered with a stacked edition."
"This is a remake of a Danish film. It has a great cast, and it follows the original incredibly well. It has the same director and writer along with a co-write from Stephen Soderbergh, but it just doesn't compare to the original. I can't put my finger on why it didn't work for me. Nick Nolte was miscast in this one, and some of the acting was very hammy. I would just watch the superior original film."
"I bought this as a blind buy while the trailer really had me intrigued. This proved to be a great decision! Noghtwatch has a definitive 90s feel, but also has the makings of a genuine creepy late night thriller sprinkled with some neo-noir flavor. Overall a great movie presented in stunning quality"
"Was eager to grab this release as soon as it was announced and it doesn’t disappoint. The new transfer is a huge upgrade and looks wonderful, with a really informative book and features."
"So glad VSU got the rights to this. This sleeper came into my life in VHS of 25 years ago. The suspense and acting lives on. The picture quality is awesome and special features rule."
"Great to get a nice edition for this film, very happy"
"Not every catalog title receives this kind of treatment, which makes releases like this especially appreciated. I got this as a blind buy, and while I thought the film was just “good” I am so glad to own it in this substantial package! The film looks magnificent, sounds great, excellent bonus features, and the flick has been packaged with the kind of attention that collectors notice immediately."
"I remember the trailers for this movie and one in particular that was on the vhs for Jackie Brown that made me want to see it. That trailer had some extra footage in it too. It’s a shame that the original cut doesn’t exist, but the movie as is is a tense and creepy film. Nick Nolte is the big standout in the film."
"A slow burn, but I was into it. Creepy atmosphere, solid mystery, and a few genuinely tense moments."
"Saw this in theaters and knew then it was a remake. I always enjoyed this version, even after seeing the original. Ewan McGregor was always so engaging in his early roles and this is no exception. Fun and creepy"
