"This is probably one of my favorite Latin movies of the decade. The story is remarkable, the characters are super well developed and the performances are simply awesome. Plus, the mix of drama + humor is quite unique! The pacing/rhythm of the movie is super engaging, as well. Like usual, the service was great: great packaging and everything was in order by the time it arrived."

So when I discovered Vinegar Syndrome had physical copies, I bought mine instantly. Purchased alongside “Anything That Moves” - definitely a wild double feature. "A sharp, darkly funny character piece about failure, ego, redemption and the universe having a cruel sense of humor. Ubeimar Rios gives the kind of lead performance that feels lived-in rather than polished, which fits the film perfectly. It has that uncomfortable comic rhythm where you laugh and then immediately feel bad for laughing. The Medellín setting and the literary burnout angle give it a very specific flavor, far from the usual boutique-label comfort zone. Really glad this one got a proper Blu-ray release."
